Todays comic is a continuation of the D&D setting that began here. We will be progressively continuing the story in random comics throughout the year. If you played D&D in the late 70′s or 80′s you were considered a gamer. The definition of a gamer has changed so experientially over these last few years and is making it juristically harder to distinguish between groups of people (because labeling people is a staple of American culture). Due to the blurring of labels and the definition of gamer being tampered with I will now attempt to enlighten you on the different types of gamers that inhabit the world.
The wide world of gamers – As defined by Ace.
-Gamer- Any male that plays video games
-Pro Gamer- Anyone who plays video games but wants to be a douche about it.
-Gamer Girl- A female that plays video games (well). (Also refer to Webster’s dictionary under the term “myth”
-Hardcore Gamer- Any male or female gamer that decides to take their gaming to the next level (drinking with a loaded shotgun hardwired to sync the trigger up to “game-over’s”)
-College Gamer- Usually has a game rack full of Madden and Guitar hero games (usually considered jocks before gamers).
-Child Gamers- Any kid that has awful parents that don’t force them to get the fuck outside.
-Senior Gamers- Any gamer over the age of 30 (usually has a limited repertoire of online hearts games or Sudoku on their smart phone).
-Minority Gamer- WHERE ARE YOU MIGUEAL? I know you took my XBOX and all my games except GTA 4! Which is really ironic don’t you think??? You were hired to cut my grass for 10 bucks an hour and you thank me with this!?! I will find you my south of the boarder friend and make you wish you had never messed with my shit. I will kill your entire family and ensure no one ever had record of your coming to America. Do XBOX’s even work in Mexico?
-Side Note- African American, or as I call them black, gamers do not fall into the minority gamer description since after 9-11 it was voted that black and white is no longer distinguishable to the human eye. Yellow, red, and Muslim however are still unmistakable in a line up. It is for that reason black gamers are just plain ol gamers.
- Table Top Gamers- These gamers (also known as nerds) prefer the ol d20 dice to a controller any day. They are usually socially handicapped and reference dice rolls in real life to people who don’t play these games at all. Extremely dangerous, shoot on site.
